Personal

I’ve been in DC for almost a decade, but I’m originally from New England. Stereotypically, I love the outdoors – put me near mountains, trees, and water and I’m happy. I have a three-year-old goldendoodle named Rooney who shares this love and we’re often adventuring together.

My hobbies are mostly tactile: I love to cook and craft – recently I’ve been trying wood carving and resin casting – but I’m also a longtime gamer and soccer player.

I started out as a student organizer, and since then I’ve run canvass offices and campaigns, been a lobbyist and an advocate, and most recently, a chief of staff. Education has been the primary focus of my work, but I’ve also worked on a gamut of progressive and justice-oriented issues: environment, healthcare, racial justice, voting rights, and more.

And while I’ve spent time as the face of campaigns, ultimately, I find my work most fulfilling when I get to support other passionate, talented people in making a difference in the world. My approach focuses on authenticity and humility, the intersection of empathy and hard truths. From coaching to troubleshooting, developing systems to make them more effective or advocating on their behalf, I love to help amazing folks do great work.
